The 28 foot sailboat Chip-Chip has been the home of our Danish family of four since we left Germany in the summer of 2018 to sail the world. Before then, we had lived on the flat and windy North Sea coast since 2010 when I first started working as a climate researcher and modeler at the Alfred Wegener Institute in Bremerhaven. On this webpage you can read about our patchwork life; from our current sailing trip on which we have made it from Germany to South America, over dinner over fire in the garden, to the climate research that I spent most of my working hours with.
